February 9, 2026 – BEAVERCREEK, Ohio — Sabel Systems, a leader in digital engineering and secure mission solutions, today announced the launch of TDPWerx, a commercial off-the-shelf software product designed for DoD program managers and OEM engineering teams responsible for validating Technical Data Packages (TDPs) across acquisition, production, and sustainment. TDPWerx replaces traditionally manual, time-intensive reviews with scalable automation, reducing validation cycles from months to weeks while strengthening the digital thread from PLM through manufacturing and into sustainment and operational use.

This launch marks a significant step forward in Sabel’s commitment to advancing digital lifecycle solutions for defense programs. By automating complex TDP validation activities, TDPWerx enables program teams to reduce technical and schedule risk, improve data integrity, and make faster, more informed decisions across critical acquisition milestones while preserving readiness for production and sustainment.

“Programs are under pressure to move faster, but accepting incomplete or noncompliant data creates downstream risk,” said Chris Sharbaugh, Corporate Vice President of Technology at Sabel Systems. “TDPWerx ensures technical data is complete, compliant, and usable at acceptance, so speed today doesn’t become a liability tomorrow.”

Early deployments have demonstrated measurable impact, including a 370× increase in validation coverage and review cycles up to 50% faster than traditional approaches. In one U.S. Army program, TDPWerx evaluated 17,000+ parts and assemblies in under 30 days, executing 93 million automated checks against standards including MIL-STD-31000 and ISO 10303, ASME Y14 resulting in up to $36 million in estimated cost avoidance per major review.

“TDPWerx delivers speed without sacrificing rigor,” said Shawn Purvis, Chief Executive Officer at Sabel Systems. “By automating validation and communications across more than 160 standards and integrating with leading CAD and PLM platforms, we help programs maintain compliance, reduce risk, and stay ready from day one.”

Sabel is advancing a strategic, phased roadmap to scale AI-driven solutions, strengthen the digital thread, and enable multidisciplinary design innovation. These initiatives will accelerate digital transformation across defense programs, delivering smarter, faster, and more integrated capabilities that redefine mission readiness and lifecycle performance.
